Our recommended officiants are experienced professionals who we trust to help you craft a ceremony that's as unique as you.

Fred Clark

Fred believes your ceremony should affirm your love, not cause you stress. He wants to simplify the marriage process, focusing on celebration and being a calming presence for couples.

Ordained by the Universal Life Church as a minister in Fall 2023, Fred has experience with various rituals, such as sand ceremonies and unity candles, and offers flexible, customizable ceremonies streamlined to your desires. He is happy to incorporate personal elements, such as jokes, stories, and traditions into your wedding ceremony, and help answer your questions or relieve your nerves throughout the process. This also extends to being a sounding board while you are crafting your personal vows, or sharing thoughts about the journey you are soon to embark on.

Fred is available to meet in-person near Lakewood, over the phone, through Zoom, or communicate via email.

Anthony Colucci

Anthony has been ordained through the Universal Life Church since 2015 and has officiated more than two dozen wedding ceremonies throughout the United States. The majority of these services have been non-religious, but some have included elements of Christianity and Judaism. Anthony is comfortable with customizing your ceremony to your specific religious beliefs, as he finds value and truth in all of the world's religions. As this is your ceremony, he believes you should feel your values are represented in the service.

This requires at least one consultation prior to the wedding to discuss your preferences before a first draft of the ceremony can be provided. Most often, the initial conversation takes place via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, but Anthony is also willing to meet in person if you prefer.

While he no longer offers coordinating services - he has also served as a day-of wedding coordinator and assistant wedding coordinator for dozens of weddings over the past twenty years and is very familiar with the flow of these events. With that in mind, he is happy to provide guidance if requested and can step in during unplanned events to assure a smooth day-of experience when needed.

Sharyn Arai

Sharyn is the owner of the Kingsville Lodge and was recently licensed through the State of Ohio and ordained through the Universal Life Church.

If you are wishing for a close friend or family member to officiate your ceremony, and they are not licensed in the state of Ohio, Sharyn is available to sign paperwork and help you legalize your marriage at a reduced fee.

In a pinch, she can also take over for another officiant who may be ill or otherwise unavailable.
