Location

Just an hour east of Cleveland and only 7.5 miles south of Lake Erie, the Kingsville Lodge is ideally situated near many popular vacation destinations. We are deep in Ohio's wine country, known as the Grand River Valley, home to over 30 wineries and where more than half of Ohio's grapes are grown. And if you're looking for something else to do, daily events in the area range from baby goat cuddle time and trivia night to bar crawls and live music. We have many annual summer festivals, including the Ashtabula Harbor Beach Glass Festival in June, the Wine and Walleye Festival in July, the D-Day Reenactment in August, and the Geneva Grape Jamboree in September, to name a few. And don't forget about the Grand River Valley Ice Wine Festival in March, or the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival in October.

Within a 30-minute drive are also Geneva on the Lake, the SPIRE Institute, various breweries, orchards, covered bridges, golf courses, lakeside dining in Ashtabula, and so much more. We highly recommend you check out the small towns around us. Kingsville, Ashtabula, Jefferson, Conneaut, and our other local towns have quaint downtown areas with lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania is only 45 minutes away.

Ashtabula County Visitor's Bureau offers a very helpful area guide with area attractions and events at VisitAshtabulaCounty.com. A copy of the annual travel guide is available at the lodge.
